Victoria Falls, Chobe and Okavango

After breakfast depart for Botswana for a full-day trip into Chobe. Just an hour away from Victoria Falls you can experience a completely different safari experience by enjoying a day in the Chobe National Park and Chobe River. Depart from your Hotel at 07h30 and transfer to the Kazungula border post for your crossing into Botswana. On arrival, you need to pay $30 USD cash per person for the Botswana Tourism Levy fee. The transfer takes between 45 minutes and 1 hour. Upon arrival at the Zimbabwe border post, you will pass through the Customs and Immigration where your passport will be stamped and drive 1km up to the Botswana border post. At the Botswana border, you will be given an Immigration Form which you will need to complete before going to the Immigration counter with your passport. Once your passport has been stamped, you will return to the vehicle. Check in at Chobe Safari Lodge, located on the banks of the Chobe River. In the afternoon enjoy a river cruise into the park, with an opportunity to see a host of waders and water birds along with Hippos and the ever present Crocodile. Chobe is known for scores of large herbivores making their way down to the river to drink, most notably Elephants and Buffalos. Today enjoy morning and Afternoon Game Drives. Chobe National Park is Africa's third largest National Park. The Chobe River supports a rich variety of species that are rarely seen in the rest of the Country. After breakfast transfer by road to the town of Kassane. Continue by air to the heart of the Okavango Delta, a unique wetland system, fed by the Okavango River and comprising of 16,000 km of crystal channels, Islands and lagoons. Please note you will be traveling on a Cessna plane; small planes have a very strict luggage limit of 12kg per person in soft sided duffel bags. For your convenience the lodge has laundry facilities.
